This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not do when using WhatsLove. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to follow it. WhatsLove is strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
Breaking this policy can lead to content removal, feature limits, suspension or permanent removal of your account, without refund where permitted by law. Serious cases are reported to law enforcement.
1. Who may use WhatsLove
You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts belonging to minors are removed immediately and permanently.
One account per person. Impersonating another person, real or invented, is not allowed.
You must not use WhatsLove if you have been convicted of a serious violent or sexual offence, or if a previous account was removed for a safety breach.
You are responsible for everything done through your account. Do not share your login.
2. Prohibited conduct
The following behaviour is never acceptable on WhatsLove:
Harassment, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech or bullying of any kind.

Sexual advances towards someone who has asked you to stop, and any sexual content sent without consent.
Soliciting money, gifts, crypto, investments or financial help from other members.
Romance scams, catfishing, phishing, fake profiles and any form of deception for gain.
Commercial promotion, escort or sex work advertising, recruitment, spam or mass messaging.
Encouraging or arranging illegal activity, including drug sales, trafficking or violence.
Sharing another person's private information, address, phone number, workplace, images, without their consent.
3. Prohibited content
Any sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor, in any form. This is reported immediately and without exception.
Non-consensual intimate images, revenge content, or recordings made without the other person's knowledge.
Graphic violence, gore, self-harm or suicide promotion.
Terrorist, extremist or organised-crime material.
Nudity or explicit sexual material in profile photos, bios, voice intros or display names.
Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other people's rights.
Malware, malicious links, or links designed to move members off-platform for fraud.
4. Voice, recordings and AI features
Voice is central to WhatsLove, so we hold it to a higher standard. Our AI features analyse voice for verification and conversation support, not to judge personality or worth.
Voice notes and intros must be your own real voice. Synthetic, cloned, filtered-to-deceive or borrowed voices are not allowed.
Do not upload a recording of someone else without their consent.
Do not use voice content to harass, threaten or sexually pressure another member.
Do not attempt to defeat, spoof or reverse-engineer voice verification.
Do not export, republish or share another member's voice content outside the app.
5. Technical and platform misuse
No scraping, crawling, bulk data collection or automated account creation.
No bots, scripts or emulators used to interact with other members.
No attempts to bypass paywalls, credits, limits, geographic pricing or bans.
No probing, penetration testing or interference with our systems outside our published security process.
No reselling, sublicensing or commercially exploiting any part of the service.
6. Meeting people safely
WhatsLove is designed so you can build trust before meeting. Our safety features, including personal SOS, exist to support you but you remain responsible for your own decisions offline.
Meet in public for a first date, and tell someone you trust where you are going.
Never send money to someone you met online, whatever the reason given.
Use in-app voice and chat until you are comfortable; you never have to share personal contact details.
Report and block anyone who pressures, threatens or makes you uncomfortable.
7. Reporting and enforcement
Every profile, chat and voice note can be reported in-app. We review reports with a combination of automated detection and human moderation, and we act proportionately: a warning, content removal, loss of features, temporary suspension, or permanent removal.
Child safety, credible threats of violence and non-consensual intimate imagery result in immediate permanent removal and, where required, referral to authorities.
We may preserve account data where we are legally required to do so or where it is needed for an investigation.
If you believe a decision was wrong, you can appeal by writing to us; a human will review it.
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report.
8. Contact
To report abuse, appeal a decision, or ask a question about this policy, contact info@whatslove.app. Law enforcement requests are handled through our Law Enforcement Guidelines page. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
